At Verdigris, we believe it's more important  than ever to work together, look out for
each other and make sure we provide the nation with good food!

So, when well-known local butcher and BBQ King, Alan Franck, presented us with an opportunity
to be part of starting up Frangieto's, we were only too happy to help. Alan has paired with
his long-term friend, John Gie, to kick off a venture they have been planning for a long time.

With deep roots in both South Africa and Portugal, their dream has been to bring
chicken to people with all those wonderful flavours of good food cooked over charcoal
and spiced to perfection - not to mention the delight that comes with eating  it.
We at V are just happy to give Frangieto's this chance and support them with lift off
whilst our restaurant is closed.

SCOTT GOSS

My passion for food started early, sparked by a childhood in nature. Escaping to roam the orchards of Kent whilst my Mother picked apples. Out lamping for rabbits with friends and scrumping strawberries long before they all ended up under plastic.

Verdigris marries the joy, delight and memories of those early years with every thing I have learnt since about my craft.  

Every menu I write is my opportunity to share part of myself and for all of us to share the love. But I never forget that Mother Nature is and always will be the true artist - Scott Goss.
